Job Description

As a valued contributor to our team, you will direct efforts on risk monitoring and reviews for the organization, as well as coordinate risk mitigation activities. Additionally, you will provide risk mitigation assistance to other groups.

THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The MF Risk - Risk Analysis - Principal role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Consult with management to identify and mitigate risks to a group or the organization, and make recommendations on changes to risk and mitigation processes.
  • Partner with management regarding the identification and mitigation of risk activities across groups.
  • Provide insight and analysis regarding risks and collaborate with management to determine solutions.
  • Collaborate with management on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Advise management and provide recommendations on plans or decisions to avoid risks or mitigate their impact.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 8 years

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of directly related Multifamily Underwriting, Loan Surveillance or Breach Review
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Fannie Mae DUS Program and DUS Loss Sharing Structure and Fannie Mae's Multifamily Selling and Servicing Guide.

Skills

  • Skilled in evaluation of compliance multifamily underwriting compliance, developing data governance, etc.
  • Risk Assessment and Management including conducting impact assessments, remediating risk, etc.
  • Experience identifying measures, or indicators of underwriting performance, and the actions needed to improve or correct performance.
  • Experience gathering accurate information to support underwriting analysis.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends or relationships which inform conclusions about the data.
  • Excellent communication skills. Can explain concepts, answer critical questions, and frame ideas as systems, inputs, outputs and processes.
  • Ability to work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively towards a common goal.
  • Ability to effectively manage projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with tools such as Excel

Tools

  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Skilled in Tableau
  • Experience using APIs

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree (Required)
