Job Description
As a valued contributor to our Employee Experience and Listening team, you will advise and consult with management on best practices and recommendations for teams across the organization.
The Employee Experience Consultant will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategy and delivering programs to support an environment where teams and employees at Fannie Mae are productive, motivated, and supported. This role focuses on leading and consulting on enterprise-wide projects to advance the desired team effectiveness and employee experience. This role will consult with leaders and teams as they apply tools and best practices to support their unique needs in aligning their employee experience to the enterprise framework, with a significant emphasis on creating and implementing interventions that enable leadership to drive team effectiveness and productivity. This role will work closely with various stakeholders who own elements of our enterprise strategic priorities and enablers to ensure alignment of our employee experience strategy and to partner to promote adoption of those initiatives across the enterprise.

The Employee Experience Consultantrole will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Refine our employee experience framework in alignment with stakeholder objectives and implement an enterprise-facing model that guides leaders as they promote team effectiveness and productivity that goes beyond individual deliverables.
- Consult with management to determine enterprise priorities and leverage insights from employee sentiment and behavioral trends to identify key areas of improvement that will be the most impactful to the success of the business and employees.
- Lead the people-centric workstreams on key enterprise-wide initiatives providing them with strategic consulting insights and advice on the impact of their initiatives on team and organizational effectiveness.
- Consult with business leaders and teams to understand priorities and opportunity areas to design solutions that will advance their team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Guide leaders to the appropriate tools and processes that equip them to lead their teams' adoption of desired behaviors and norms.
- Partner with other HR teams to develop new or customized tools and processes where necessary.
- Design and implement workshops that mature the understanding and adoption of underlying behaviors that support the desired team effectiveness and employee experience.
- Provide benchmarking on industry trends and best practices to teams on employee experience to inform Fannie Mae's approach.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 6 years related experience in an HR consulting, people analytics, employee experience, or culture focused role.
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders of varying career levels and functional experience to build rapport and alignment.
- Ability to manage up and anticipate the needs of clients and supervisors.
- Strong organizational skills, proactivity, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage confidential data professionally.
- Ability to speak and write clearly, succinctly, and in a manner tailored to the unique needs and priorities of a given audience.
- Ability to consistently develop polished work products that reflect logical thinking
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in developing, implementing, training, and supporting new or existing strategic programs and processes.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively and move work forward independently while seeking guidance and direction as appropriate.
- Experience with large scale program design and implementation, particularly change management initiatives.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within HR and related systems and processes.
- Familiar with employee culture and engagement tactics and strategies.
- Basic understanding of business drivers and their relevance to employee experience.
- Ability to structure your approach, including knowing where to bring in data, in order to generate insights to solve complex problems.
- Continuous improvement and feedback mindset.
- Skilled in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
