Job Description
In this compelling leadership position, you will lead the team responsible for applying mathematical models, advanced tools or techniques (such as SAS, Python, and R), and financial industry knowledge to business, economic and financial data, including model results. Your efforts will enable the team to analyze and report on business performance, solve business questions, and inform business decisions. Work may include working with modelers to develop models or prototypes to achieve these goals.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
The Director Enterprise Financial Analysis will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Lead processing or analyzing large amounts of data efficiently using advanced financial engineering tools and techniques.
- Determine customer's intended uses for a financial analysis or model.
- Monitor and report on financial analysis or forecasting, which may include scenario or sensitivity analysis, stress testing, or attribution analysis.
- Set and implement parameters for executing models and/or interpreting model results.
- Translate the results from the analysis or models for the customer into understandable conclusions.
- Set the approach for model builders to vet new models, suggest changes to existing models, or analyze model performance data.
- Inform management of the results of data and systems analysis, validation, and regression testing.
- Establish performance metrics to inform business decisions and set profitability targets for business lines.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 8 years of experience
- People management experience
- Experience with econometric models with application to the mortgage and securitization markets
- Model governance experience
- Experience preparing materials for senior level management
Desired Experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent

Target Salary: $172,000 - $234,000 a year

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications. This position is eligible to participate in a Fannie Mae incentive program (subject to the terms of the program).
