Job Description
This 10-week internship program, beginning in June, offers a set hourly rate of $41.50 an hour.

The Chief Security Office (CSO), is responsible for enterprise-wide risk-based security including cybersecurity and workplace safety and security, as well as the enterprise's architecture strategy, platform and governance.

As a Chief Security Office Program Intern, you will enjoy the challenge of researching threats, deploying, and leveraging automation, and reducing risk to the company. You will thrive in an environment where you can collaborate and learn from other cybersecurity and enterprise architecture professionals. Through hands-on experience and interaction with some of the greatest technological teams in the industry, you will gain experience and understanding in producing solutions to meet our corporate goals.
As a valued colleague on our team, you may contribute to designing, developing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as contribute to creating and maintaining IT architecture, cloud-based systems, data infrastructure, data analytics platforms, and securing against cyber security threats. Our interns collaborate with senior staff to help implement modern technologies and maintain tools using industry standard best practices. This opportunity will allow you to apply your fundamental knowledge of a process-driven approach in designing solutions for our customers and internal partners.

- Scripting languages SQL, Python, Bash Scripting, Java, shell script, js/angularjs, golang, .net, powershell
Examples of intern tasks and projects include:
- Scanning and remediation support for cyber security programs
- Providing support to application teams for patching or upgrading systems
- Recommending and executing improvements to cyber security process and technology
- Creating scalable, automated solutions to support business needs
- Testing to ensure solutions are compatible and retain sustainability
- Managing data platforms and tools, monitoring production logs, analyzing data to determine root cause, and coordinating with users to triage issues
- Ensuring sensitive data is governed throughout the technology ecosystem and prevent data loss
- Create and maintain architecture diagrams for key software applications
- Triage and maintain SLAs for service desk request
- Collaborate across teams for building secure, robust applications

Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING
Minimum Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Academic achievement (preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher)
Preferred Qualifications
- Rising senior enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, or student enrolled in master's degree program (Fall 2026/Spring 2027 graduation date).
- Cybersecurity, Information Systems/Technology majors are preferred. Other technical majors will be considered based on a candidate's technical experience and/or aptitude
- Technology related certification(s) (ex: Security+, AWS Cloud)
- Understanding of access management, vulnerabilities, risk
- Knowledge of security frameworks, models, and concepts
- Basic understanding of architecture principles and system design concepts (e.g., APIs, microservices, data flow, integration patterns)
- Familiarity with scripting (ex: Python, Java Script)
- Strong analytical skills to perform effective troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity framework (ex: NIST, OWASP)
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to contribute to a team
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-starter, strong business acumen, and results focused

The hiring range for this role is set forth below. Final salaries will generally vary within that range based on factors that include but are not limited to, skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant qualifications.
