THE POSITION
Our roster has an opening with your name on it

We are seeking an experienced change analyst/manager to support our change governance processes. This role will focus on operating the post-implementation review activities for compliance programs such as SOX. You will play a critical role in supporting the review of production activity and logs, ensuring change policies and procedures have been followed. This is an exciting role that offers many opportunities for technical engagement and growth. THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Perform post-implementation reviews of technology changes, adhering to industry best practices and company policies.
  • Coordinate reviews of production change logs such as database query logs, supporting engineering teams in ensuring adherence to required change processes.
  • Validate that all production changes align with documented change tickets and adhere to established procedures and protocols.
  • Document findings and maintain comprehensive records of log reviews, ensuring adherence to audit and compliance requirements.
  • Work with engineers to proactively identify opportunities to enhance logging and monitoring processes to strengthen SOX compliance and overall governance.
  • Develop comprehensive review plans and strategies. Communicate with relevant stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of change records, approvals, and post-implementation reviews.
  • Monitor and report on change success metrics, such as adoption rates and incident reduction and other measures required by the wider business.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for process improvements related to change management and Technology Operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance change management practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and resources the FanDuel community.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams and individuals involved in change initiatives, helping with planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Promote a culture of change readiness and adaptability within the organization, encouraging proactive engagement with change initiatives and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among teams involved in change management, enabling cross-functional learning and collaboration.
  • Uphold the standards and demonstrate FanDuel's values in all aspects of work.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 3+ years of experience in IT change management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex changes in a large enterprise environment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must pass all relevant background security checks, including those to be licensed as required by US jurisdictions.
  • Some out of business hours required.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working within a heavily regulated industry is a plus
  • Experience in reviewing production logs such in systems such as DataDog.
  • Jira, Confluence Eazybi and automation and configuration
  • Understanding of ITIL and agile framework and change management principles.
