We sell wholesale to the residential, commercial, and industrial market segments for new construction, replacement, repair, remodel, parts and service.

The essential function of this position is to source/recruit, interview, and attain new hires for the company. This associate will assist the Director of Human Resources and Generalists/HRBP’s with any additional duties.
This position requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on recruitment and internal customer service.  Position is full-time, on-site at our Fairlawn, OH headquarters.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Understand the Famous culture and source candidates who embrace our 40 Fundamentals 
  • Develop overall talent acquisition strategy to identify top talent and target active and passive job seekers
  • Investigate referrals, references and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants.
  • Build relationships with HR Business Partners and hiring managers to understand and meet the business’ needs 
  • Work with HR Director &/or HR Generalists/HRBP’s in assigning jobs to staffing agencies when necessary
  • Maintain updates on open positions report with HR Director.
  • Continually create new, innovative methods to improve the recruitment process.
  • Deliver an excellent and timely recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers 
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates for culture fit and job skills for various positions within the organization
  • Conduct interviews via phone, Zoom and in-person and provide timely follow-up 
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates, hiring managers and other key leaders 
  • Build candidate pipeline in high growth areas 
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with schools, colleges and organizations throughout our footprint, to participate in job fairs or networking events that could yield high potential candidates.
  • Run recruitment campaigns and advertise positions.
  • Coordinating, facilitating internal hiring events 
  • Sourcing and attending external hiring events 
Qualifications:

Required Experience and Skills:
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 3+ years of recruiting experience for a Distribution/manufacturing organization, agency or executive search firm required.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and social media applications required.
  • Excellent analytical skills to track metrics and interpret data for strategic recruiting campaigns.
  • A professional, courteous demeanor on the phone and in-person is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, especially the ability to network and establish professional relationships is required.
  • Availability to travel to business locations as required.
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Computer Skills: Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Proficient in utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).  Jazz experience a plus.
