The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual, who will act as a Dedicated Engineer. To be successful as a Sr. QA Engineer, you should have experience in Web Application testing, API testing. Brief understanding of testing approaches. Good communication skills are required. This individual will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and share knowledge.

• Strong experience in Manual Testing.
• Monitor system and software functionality.
• Analyzing the User stories/Use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
• Perform requirement analysis and should be able to create the Test plan and test strategy document prepared and work accordingly.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and developers.
• Should be able to perform all kinds of testing like System, Integration, End to end, Smoke and Regression.
• Should be able to run the automation suite created by automation tester.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment.
• Work under high pressure.
• Adaptability to learn new testing technologies.
• Test Data gathering for various types of testing and for Test Cases.
• On-time information and report submission to management on Test Cases and Defects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from Test Management Tool.
• Well-motivated with strong work ethics, good communication skills and flexible to the demand of the job, excellent team player with leadership and smart working skills.
• Working experience in Agile Scrum model and aware of Agile-SCRUM practices.

• Minimum of 3 to 7 years of Manual Testing experience with management at the project and program level.
• Knowledge in creation and execution of Test cases and Test scenarios.
• Should be able to log the defects in any of the tool Ex- Jira or Itrack.
• Experience in defining test strategies and test cases for large scale implementations.
• Should be capable to understand and debug the production logs using log4 or any logging mechanism.
• Should be able to understand the test case status by looking into the automation report (Ex - Extent Report) and should be able understand whether it's a functionality failure or a script failure.
• Experience in defining test strategies and test cases for large scale implementations.
• Should be able to communicate the defects with the development team.
• Deep knowledge and experience with distributed systems design, development, and testing.
• Strong knowledge of tools used to validate web services.
• Experience with Building Test Competency and process improvements.

• Ability to work in an independent environment.
• Ability to work under a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers)
• Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
• Ability to be flexible and successfully respond to multiple work pressures.
• Sitting for extended periods of time
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components.
