The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation who will act as a Dedicated Engineer. To be successful as a Sr. QA Engineer, you should have experience in automation testing. Brief understanding of testing approaches. Good communication skills are required. This individual will have a strong technical aptitude and a desire to learn and share knowledge.

• Perform requirements analysis and create test plan.
• Should be able to decide testing and automation testing process along with automation tools and framework based on project requirement.
• Work with CI/CD team to integrate automation testing as part of build pipeline.
• Work with development team to have effective testing.
• Help in developing test suite, which creates confidence in delivery. E.g. covering the scenarios which are critical to business, covering all aspects.
• Define processes to capture bug report, analyze and apply knowledge to strengthen test suites.
• Join grooming meeting to ensure full functional understanding.
• An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment.
• Adaptability to new testing technology.
• Ability to work in global and flexible hours (occasionally).

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing experience with three plus years focusing on Test leadership and management at the project and program level.
• Must have experience with Selenium Web Driver and other automations tools (Like - Puppeteer, Cypress, JMeter).
• Experience in creating test strategies & test plan.
• Should have work experience with any of the performance tools like JMeter or load Runner.
• Deep knowledge and experience with distributed systems design, development, and testing.
• Good understanding of various Testing Frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword driven and Page Object model, BDD Framework, Hydrate).
• Good understanding on tool for API testing automation (Tools like Rest Azure and Postman).
• Should be strong in Java, Python or C#.
• Experience in implementation of Dev/TestOps.
• Experience, desire and comfort to build and work with teams located globally.
• Experience with Agile process & other SDLC models.
• Should be capable to understand and debug the production logs using log4j or any logging mechanism.
• Should be able to generate a good automation report. (Ex - Extent Report).
• Should be able to work with Version controlling tools like Git.
• Experience, desire and comfort to build and work with teams located globally.
• Should have a basic knowledge of Alteryx.

• Ability to work in an independent environment.
• Ability to work under a moderate noise level (i.e. working on an open floor with printers, telephones, and computers)
• Ability to travel for business and work beyond normal business hours when necessary.
