Test Program Manager
Our client Indiana Farm Bureau is seeking a Test Manager to join their team. As a Test Manager, you will be overseeing QA and Development teams supporting. The ideal candidate will have testing management background, high level communication and local to Indianapolis which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Testing Program Manager
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid Schedule)
Pay Range: Flexible upon conversation. Ideally looking to be around 75/hour
What’s the Job?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, business analysts, product owners, and program management to align on testing goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and implement the testing strategy and plan. This includes defining testing phases (e.g., integration, system, UAT), tools, and environments.
- Identify and mitigate testing risks and issues throughout the program lifecycle. Develop contingency plans and provide clear, data-driven reports to senior leadership.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of all testing activities, ensuring adherence to the test strategy and program timelines. Monitor progress, analyze results, and provide regular status updates.
- Partner with the QA CoE on the standard test procedures and tools.
- Regularly review and report on vendor test plans, test cases, and results to ensure they align with the program's overall quality objectives.

What’s Needed?
- Demonstrated experience leading test programs for large-scale, multi-year platform or system migration projects.
- Direct experience with mainframe systems and an understanding of the complexities involved in migrating off them.
- Thorough understanding of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end test strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience testing or leading testing of cloud-based web applications and microservices.
