Sr. Account Manager

Our client, a leading media organization, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support their Account Executives and Lead Account Managers in delivering high-performing, strategic media campaigns. This client-facing role focuses on campaign execution, media planning, performance optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. You’ll be a key player in client satisfaction and campaign success, with a high level of autonomy and visibility across internal and external stakeholders.

Job Title: Senior Account Manager – Activation
Location: Onsite Cincinnati preferred (4 days/week if local). Will consider remote if great fit!  

Terms: Short term W2 Contract –2/3 months
Note: This role is not open to C2C
Working Hours: EST

Pay Rate: $25-30/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead client communication and status meetings, with a 24-hour SLA on responses.
  • Collaborate on strategic media plans, campaign proposals, and performance optimizations.
  • Oversee full campaign lifecycle—from kickoffs to performance monitoring, reporting, and invoicing.
  • Identify growth opportunities through up-sell/cross-sell strategies informed by data.
  • Present insights, campaign performance, and recommendations in a clear, compelling manner.
  • Troubleshoot issues and collaborate across departments for campaign resolution and success.
  • Train and support emerging clients in platform use and campaign strategy.



What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Digital media experience (publisher, agency, or retail experience preferred)
  • Strong media planning, client communication, and campaign execution skills
  • Excellent data-driven thinking and ability to craft strategic recommendations
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office—especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Slides
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
