Silicon SoC Validation Engineer 3

Our client, a leading technology company, is seeking a Silicon SoC Validation Engineer to join their team. As a SoC Validation Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative chip design projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for quality and innovation which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Silicon SoC Validation Engineer 3

Location: Hillsboro, OR | Fully onsite

Pay Range: $59-64 per hour on Experis W2 
*Not open for C2C 

What's the Job?

• Develop and execute validation test plans for various SoC features and subsystems in functional, electrical, or power/performance areas.
• Perform functional, stress, and performance testing using hardware and software tools.
• Analyze test results and identify, isolate, and debug issues.
• Document and communicate test findings and status to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design, verification, and software teams to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in silicon validation, testing, or debugging.
• 5-7 years of computer architecture knowledge
• 5-7 years of Python scripting
• Demonstrated validation experience in areas such as core, PCIe, memory controller, and power management.
• Applied understanding of computer architecture and CPU/SoC validation principles.
• Experience with hardware and software debug tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, C++
• Understanding of board level schematics
