Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Compliance Department supporting key compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize among different tasks, and project management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Compliance Analyst

Location: New York, New York

Pay Range: $75,000 - $85,000

What's the Job?

  • Conducting Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on clients in accordance with established procedures.
  • Monitoring and conducting investigations on alerts generated by the Transaction Monitoring System (TMS).
  • Reviewing and dispositioning sanctions alerts generated during sanctions screening.
  • Assisting in the periodic risk assessment process of BSA/AML and Sanctions risks.
  • Performing BSA/AML, Sanctions, and Corporate Compliance Testing to identify weaknesses and improvement opportunities.

What's Needed?

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years of working experience in compliance required.
  • CAMS (Certified Anti Money-laundering Specialist) Certification is preferred.
  • Strong speaking and writing skills.
  • Leadership and mentorship skills.
