Sanitation Manager

Our client, a leading player in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sanitation Manager to join their team. As a Sanitation Manager, you will be part of the operations team supporting the overnight sanitation efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Manager

Location: Milton, PA

Pay Range: $79,000 - $135,000

What's the Job?

  • Lead and manage the overnight sanitation team to ensure all equipment, tools, and facility areas are cleaned and sanitized according to FDA, USDA, and company standards.
  • Develop and execute sanitation schedules and procedures to support daily startup requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate policies.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure seamless shift transitions and operational readiness.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop direct reports to help them achieve both corporate and department goals.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of leadership experience in sanitation and operations within the food manufacturing or processing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of sanitation chemicals, methods, and regulatory requirements (FDA, USDA, GMP, SSOP, HACCP).
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and overseeing both sanitation and production operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
