Our client, a leader in the Food Manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. As a Quality Assurance Manager, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the overall safety and quality of food products. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Location: Cleveland, TN

Pay Range: $100,000 - $130,000

What's the Job?

  • Serve as the site’s SQF Practitioner and PCQI, responsible for all facility-level food safety programs.
  • Lead a strong culture of quality through coaching, training, and accountability.
  • Own and manage QA programs: SQF, HACCP/Food Safety Plans, SSOPs, SOPs, GMPs, sanitation verification, and pre-requisite programs.
  • Supervise environmental monitoring and microbiological sampling programs to ensure full compliance.
  • Collaborate with R&D and Commercialization on pilot runs, spec development, and product evaluations.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of QA or food safety experience in USDA/FDA-regulated manufacturing, ideally ready-to-eat or perishable foods.
  • HACCP certification and SQF Practitioner credentials required.
  • PCQI (FSMA) certification required.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
