Our client, the Global Leader in Technology is seeking a proactive and organized Site Program & Event Coordinator to support site-level operations and community engagement efforts. This dynamic role involves event planning, university outreach, and operational support to help drive the success of programs such as Hackathons, mentorship initiatives, and volunteer coordination.

 

Job Title: Program Manager 

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Type: Contract

 

What’s the Job?

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site events (e.g., Hackathons, social activities, mentorship programs).

  • Serve as a liaison with local universities (Portland State University, Oregon State University) to maintain and grow educational partnerships.

  • Support volunteer programs, resume review events, and mentorship coordination.

  • Collaborate with the site’s social committee to organize team engagement activities.

  • Manage logistics for events, including communications, scheduling, materials preparation, and volunteer sourcing.

  • Create and maintain project tracking documents, PowerPoint decks, and Excel-based reports.

  • Provide general business operations support, including light office management.

  • Travel occasionally (up to once per quarter) for university visits and events.

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in event management, project coordination, or office operations.

  • Experience working on-site in a professional corporate environment.

  • Proficiency with MS 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
