Procurement Assistant Manager
Our client, a leader in the procurement industry, is seeking a Procurement Assistant Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Assistant Manager, you will be part of the Procurement department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and effective communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Procurement Assistant Manager
Location: Hoboken, NJ
Pay Range: $40 to $50 p/h w-2
Duration 10 month contract
What's the Job?
- Manage procurement category management of the Oleochemical / Fatty Acid portfolio for the Americas business, including RFQ, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Oversee procurement operations, ensuring accuracy of contracts and tracking volume/price cover to meet factory demands.
- Handle innovation and price benchmarking requests as necessary.
- Conduct price forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Perform other tasks assigned for the procurement portfolio managed.

- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
