Our client, a dynamic technology leader, is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to join their team. As a Principal Cloud Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for mentoring, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Principal Cloud Engineer
Location: Onsite 4 days a week in one of the following locations: Greenwood Village, CO; Charlotte, NC; St. Louis, MO
Pay Range: Competitive, based on experience
What's the Job?
- Work collaboratively with development teams to transition new products into the cloud.
- Design, implement, and maintain Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure focusing on operational, security, and compliance aspects.
- Create processes for continuous deployment, including orchestration of deployment pipelines.
- Develop tools and scripts to enhance the efficiency of operational tasks.
- Implement monitoring processes and design/deploy monitoring dashboards to ensure system reliability.
What's Needed?
- 7–15 years of demonstrated experience in cloud engineering.
- 7-10+ years of experience in Linux environments.
- 1+ year of experience working with GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
- Experience using Git SCM, GitHub, or GitLab.
