Outbound Customer Logistics Project Manager

Our client, a diversified multinational conglomerate that operates in several broad industries, is seeking an Outbound Customer Logistics Project Manager to join their team. As an Outbound Customer Logistics Project Manager, you will be part of the Global Logistics department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Outbound Customer Logistics Project Manager

Location: Remote (Must be able to travel domestically & internationally intermittently)

Pay Range: Competitive

Contract Duration: 12-Months

Job Function:

  • Lead initiatives focused on improving Customer Load Factor and optimizing Customer Minimum Order Quantities.
  • Utilize Power BI analytics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in Customer Load Factor Metrics.
  • Prepare and participate in onsite events including Distribution Centers and Manufacturing plants.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve systemic issues and enhance shipping efficiency.
  • Develop decision-support tools and maintain visibility into initiative progress through performance reviews.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial engineering, business or related field.
  • PMP certification or related Project Management/ Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Candidates will typically have 8+ years of work experience in supply chain, distribution or logistics.
  • At least 5+ years of experience specifically in project leadership or operations excellence.
