Our client, a dynamic leader in the tech industry, is seeking a Marketing Manager to join their team. As a Marketing Manager, you will be part of the marketing department supporting the client's Startups initiative. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing skills, a strategic mindset, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Remote
Hours: 20 hours a week
Pay Rate range: $33.50 - 36.50/per hour
What's the Job?
- Support the development and refinement of messaging frameworks that articulate the value of the product.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent voice and tone across all marketing assets.
- Own and drive messaging projects from concept to execution, including briefs, decks, and marketing content.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights and feedback that inform messaging strategy.
- Support storytelling initiatives that elevate the brand narrative across digital, social, and partner channels.
What's Needed?
- 5+ years of direct experience in brand strategy, messaging development, and storytelling—preferably in tech or startup ecosystems.
- Exceptional writing, storytelling, and communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex ideas.
- Ability to distill complex technical or business concepts into clear, persuasive messaging
- Proven ability to craft compelling narratives, including customer success stories, from initial research through to polished content
- Experience in creating Marketing collateral such as one-pagers, case studies, and talk tracks for both internal and external audiences
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and leadership potential.
- Comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward with minimal oversight.
- Passionate about startups, innovation, and the impact of technology.
- Portfolio of writing samples that showcase storytelling, brand positioning, and Marketing collateral (preferred)
