Global Logistics Customer Project Manager

Our client, a global leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Global Logistics Customer Project Manager to join their team, fully onsite, in Maplewood, MN. As a Global Logistics Customer Project Manager, you will be part of the Global Logistics department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Global Logistics Customer Project Manager

Location: Maplewood, MN

Pay Range: $71/HR + Benefits

Contract Duration: 12-Months 

Job Function:

• Reports to Global Logistics, ensuring strategic alignment across cross-functional teams, leading vehicle utilization optimization for Customer Shipments.
• Leverages Power BI analytics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement in Customer Load Factor Metrics (LFM), with a goal of improving baseline performance to an 80% vehicle utilization rate.
• Develops decision-support tools, including prioritization matrices, process maps, and implementation timelines to accelerate the rollout of load factor initiatives.
• Partners with Americas Domestic Transportation to ensure consistent operational execution of improvement plans at sites to drive measurable improvements in shipping efficiency.
• Leads deployment of Customer Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs) optimization initiatives and increases pick to pallet ratio at US Distribution Centers to 65%.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Power BI.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive operational efficiency.
