Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking a GCP Application Security Architect to join their team. As a GCP Application Security Architect, you will be part of the security department supporting a diverse range of teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: hybrid - 3 days onsite in Sunrise, FL; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ; Salt Lake City, UT; Silicon Valley - Palo Alto, CA; or New York City (Remote)
Pay Range: 65-70 W2 Pay Rate

- Design and implement application security architecture for GCP-hosted services and applications.
- Ensure secure-by-design initiatives across the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including threat modeling and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with software engineers and cloud architects to align with security best practices.
- Define and promote secure coding standards and security-focused CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor emerging GCP security features and provide recommendations for adoption.
What's Needed?
- 7+ years in application security, software engineering, or security architecture roles.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with GCP services, including IAM and Cloud Run.
- Deep understanding of secure development lifecycle (SSDLC) and cloud-native application patterns.
- Experience implementing security controls in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub.
- Proven ability to communicate risk to technical and executive stakeholders.
