Our client, a leader in the banking industry, is seeking an Enterprise Architect to join their team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will be part of the technology department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong technical leadership abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Enterprise Architect
Location: New York City, New York (On-site 1x/week) or Jersey City, NJ
Pay Range: $90-95/hour, w2
What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural blueprints that encompass the entire IT infrastructure, applications, data, and technology platforms.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define technology strategies and roadmaps that support business growth, innovation, and agility in the banking sector.
- Assess the suitability of new technologies and solutions, conducting thorough evaluations to determine their alignment with business needs and architectural standards.
- Establish and enforce architectural governance processes to ensure compliance with industry regulations, security standards, and best practices in banking.
- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating communication and fostering alignment on architectural decisions and priorities within the banking domain.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) as an Enterprise Architect in a large-scale enterprise environment, with experience in the banking sector preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
- Experience with Ardoq or LeanIX is essential.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing, microservices architecture, API management, and emerging technologies.
