Deployment Network Engineer

Our client is seeking Deployment Network Engineer I a to join their team. 

Title: Deployment Network Engineer
Work location: Pittsburgh and Memphis
12 months Contract
Onsite

Must-have skills for this role: 1. Routing & Switching 2. SDWAN 3. VRFs
• Years of experience required for each skill: 8+ years of experience
• Some nice-to-have skills: 1. Understanding of Cisco ACI 2. IPSec VPN

• Job description/responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement network solutions based on business requirements and technical specifications.
- Deploy routers, switches, wireless controllers, and other network equipment.
- Ensure smooth migration from legacy systems to new infrastructure with minimal downtime.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams during implementation phases to manage timelines and dependencies.
- Perform network testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance and security standards.
- Maintain detailed documentation of network architecture, configuration, and deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues during and after implementation.
- Ensure all network deployments adhere to company policies and industry best practices.
- Provide training and handoff to network operations teams post-deployment.
