Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 1
Location: Onsite - Hoffman Estates, IL
Duration: 5+ Months (W2 Contract)
Pay: $25 - $27/hr. + Benefits & PTO
Regular Business Hours (Mo-Fr)
What's the Job?
- Monitor the system for equipment failures or performance errors.
- Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating the program as necessary.
- Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs.
- Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports.
- Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring detailed inventory tracking.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma AND 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Previous experience working in a data center environment.
- Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with customer service and interpersonal skills.
