Our client, a leader in Corporate & Investment Banking, is seeking a Business Analyst (CIB AI Innovation) to join their team. As a Business Analyst, you will be part of the innovation department supporting various asset classes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a disciplined approach to follow-up, and the ability to engage with stakeholders effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Business Analyst (CIB AI Innovation)
Location: New York, NY
Pay Range: $62 per hour
What's the Job?
- Engage with subject matter experts in FX, commodities, credit, and other asset classes to elicit, validate, and prioritize business requirements.
- Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows for AI use cases such as credit memo automation and document extraction.
- Author and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and minimal rework.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and walkthroughs; drive decisions and close open items promptly.
- Coordinate hand-offs between business, UX/UI, and engineering teams; track deliverables and manage follow-up rigorously.

What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Corporate & Investment Banking or Capital Markets.
- Proven ability to author comprehensive BRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency with process-mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and collaboration platforms (Confluence, Jira).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
