Job Title: AWS Architect
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid schedule onsite Tues - Thurs)
Pay Range: $80-$85hr
Candidates: US Citizens or GC Holders
Duration: 6mo contract to hire
As an AWS Architect, you will be part of the cloud engineering department supporting various development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions, which will align successfully with the organization.
What's the Job?
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
- Architect and deploy microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (Amazon EKS).
- Collaborate with development teams to build backend services in Kotlin.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability.

What's Needed?
- 9+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proven experience with microservices architecture and container orchestration.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, ECS, Fargate, and Docker/Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Kotlin for backend development (Spring Boot or Ktor preferred).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices.
