Reporting to the Director of Software Development, the Technical Writer role is a position in the Experian D2C Analytics team that supports writing and submitting analytics requirements for new projects and enhancements. A Technical Writer works with stakeholders across technology, product, analytics, quality assurance, and implementation teams to submit requirements that instruct delivery teams to send signals that track important customer behaviors on our website, mobile apps, and more.
Experience
- You have 2 or more years of professional work experience writing technical requirements/user stories.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience.
- You have experience writing clear, easy-to-understand requirements for complex scenarios.

Main Responsibilities
- You will work with the Analytics team leads to define analytics requirements for new product features of Experian's consumer-facing websites and native mobile apps to meet reporting needs.
- Convert analytics requirements into user stories to submit to Technology teams.
- You will work with Technology teams to prioritize, groom, and clarify requirements.
- Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of stories, validating that the stories' conditions have been met and that data is flowing into event tables as expected.
- Create and submit defects to Technology teams and work with them to resolve bugs.
- You will maintain statuses of projects in progress and ensure that analytics interests are on track.
Qualifications Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of Agile software development methodologies.
- Experience with enterprise analytics reporting and visualization tools.
- Experience with QA testing websites.
