Description

We are looking for an experienced 1LOD Risk and Control Subject Matter Expert with expertise in Commercial Risk to join our UK&I Central Control Function.

This is a hybrid role based in our Nottingham or London office reporting into our Head of Risk Operations.

Work that matters - What you'll do

• Reviewing commercial activities to spot trends, risks, and control gaps

• Analysing incidents and data to uncover root causes

• Advising business teams on improving risk and control effectiveness

• Producing thematic reviews and insights to influence leadership

• Help develop our 1LoD Risk Framework

• Collaborating with Legal, Compliance, and 2LoD Risk to clarify understanding

• Designing and tracking key risk indicators (KRIs)

• Sharing good practice and uplifting capability across the 1LoD

Qualifications

What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

• An understanding of commercial operations such as sales, contracting, client delivery, or data licensing

• Experience in operational or commercial risk management

• With the ability to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data

• Produce concise reports

• Confidence to advise and influence senior team members

• A curious mindset with a practical approach to solutions
