Description
As a Business Data Analyst at Experian Consumer Services, you will play a critical role in identifying, designing, and implementing fraud detection strategies and alerts. You will investigate and resolve fraud-related issues with precision and efficiency, supporting both existing and new financial services products. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for protecting consumers through innovative risk mitigation. You will report to fraud and risk management.
- Drive and coordinate anti-fraud initiatives across complex programs to meet defined business goals and timelines.
- Execute daily responsibilities related to fraud risk mitigation and third-party vendor oversight.
- Conduct control reviews of business metrics and analyze external partner performance using KPIs and SLAs.
- Perform data analysis to validate risk strategies and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research, impact analysis, and issue remediation.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in fraud prevention and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners to optimize fraud operations, tools, and policies.
- Track, trend, and analyze business metrics to drive actionable improvements.
- Support internal and external audits and due diligence efforts.
Qualifications
Skilled in documentation, communication, and cross-team collaboration. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results with urgency. Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis and solution development. Experienced in data analysis, performance metrics, and risk strategy validation, with bonus skills in SAS, SQL, Python, or similar tools. Knowledgeable in fraud prevention, process optimization, and regulatory compliance, with a track record in reducing risk and enhancing customer experience.
