Description

Join Experian's NZ Sales team, where we empower businesses across New Zealand with the data and insights they need to make smarter credit decisions. As a Business Development Executive you'll be part of a supportive environment focused on helping clients unlock the value of Experian's credit risk data solutions. You'll work closely with Small and Medium Businesses, identifying their needs and offering tailored solutions that drive real business outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a sales professional, or someone looking to get into sales that has contact centre experience and wants to make the leap into sales. You will need to excel at building relationships over the phone and be passionate about helping businesses grow through data-driven decision-making.

Work that matters - What you'll be doing

  • Proactively engaging with new and existing clients via phone to understand their credit risk needs
  • Presenting and selling Experian's credit data solutions to a range of businesses
  • Managing a sales pipeline and accurately forecasting revenue opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction
  • Staying up to date with market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes

More about you

  • You are comfortable making outbound calls and have 2 or more years of experience in a similar role
  • You will have a consultative sales approach
  • You are motivated and are good at managing your time
  • Able to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term client relationships
  • You are committed to continuous learning and improvement
  • Looking to build a career in sales in a highly regarded global organisation
