  • Lead, mentor, and grow an organization of talented engineers and engineering managers, creating a supportive and high-performance culture.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of your product roadmap, ensuring your teams are shipping high-quality software that delights our users.
  • Partner with your product and design counterparts to set the vision and strategy for your domain.
  • Champion operational excellence, ensuring the systems your teams own are scalable, reliable, and secure.
  • Be a key member of our engineering leadership team, contributing to the health and success of the entire engineering department.

What you should bring with you

  • A deep passion for people leadership and a track record of building and developing successful engineering teams.
  • Experience managing other engineering managers is highly desirable.
  • The ability to be a strong strategic partner to Product and Design.
  • A strong, hands-on technical background with senior-level experience in Go and/or Python. You're not afraid to dive into the details, and you're comfortable participating in code reviews, technical design discussions, and even writing code when it helps the team move forward. Familiarity with modern data engineering concepts and technologies (ETL/ELT, APIs, Postgres, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.) is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Typically 8+ years of industry experience, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.

Pay range: $167,300 USD to $242,600 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
