Senior/Lead Data & AI Governance
Exadel is seeking an exceptional Senior/Lead Data & AI Governance to establish, lead, and scale our global Data, Analytics & AI Governance capability. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for all aspects of data and AI governance, while building high-value, reusable solutions and capabilities that drive revenue, strengthen client trust, and position Exadel as a market-leading consulting partner in Data & AI.

What You’ll Do
Leadership & Capability Contribution
- Contribute to the execution of the Data & AI Governance strategy, with a focus on effective delivery across data management, privacy, compliance, and ethical AI practices
- Lead and mentor a small team of Data Governance professionals (initially 3–6), supporting capability development and team effectiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data, AI, architecture, and compliance teams to embed governance into client and internal projects
Governance Capabilities & Solution Delivery
- Design and implement modular, reusable governance frameworks and assets that can be adapted across client engagements
- Lead the development and delivery of governance capabilities such as:
- Data Lineage & Cataloguing
- Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
- Data Quality Monitoring & Metrics
- AI Governance (Ethical AI, Responsible AI, Secure AI practices)
- Data Access, Entitlements & Confidentiality Controls
- Support the evaluation and integration of governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Microsoft Purview) into client environments
Execution & Client Engagement
- Lead the delivery of governance solutions within client programmes—ensuring alignment with business needs, compliance requirements, and technology strategy
- Build and apply repeatable operating models, governance processes, and control frameworks tailored to specific industries and client contexts
- Ensure governance practices are integrated with data platforms, AI pipelines, and cloud-native architectures
Innovation & Business Support
- Contribute to the development of Data & AI Governance offerings and delivery accelerators, working in close alignment with Go-To-Market and technical leadership teams
- Support pre-sales, solutioning, and client engagements with domain expertise and technical input
- Stay current with emerging trends in automated governance, AI ethics, and regulatory evolution, and share insights with internal teams
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Compliance, or AI Risk & Ethics, with 2–4+ years in technical or team leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience delivering data or AI governance programs in consulting or enterprise environments
- Working knowledge of:
- Governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, EDM Council)
- AI risk and ethics frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001)
- Regulatory standards: GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.
- Strong technical understanding of data platforms, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI/ML workflows from a governance and risk perspective
- Familiarity with governance platforms/tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atlan, Microsoft Purview
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills—comfortable working with project leads, compliance teams, and technical stakeholders
