Senior AWS Java Developer

We are seeking a Senior AWS Java Developer to join our Financial Services practice. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable backend systems, deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred), and designing modern solutions aligned with enterprise-grade standards.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement backend services using Java (8–11)
• Develop and deploy microservices in AWS (ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch)
• Work with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB)
• Integrate messaging and event streaming systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Ensure observability with logging, metrics, and monitoring tools such as DataDog
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Conduct code reviews, implement unit and integration testing
• Support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools

What You Bring

• 5+ years of backend development with Java (8–11)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for scalable microservices
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Experience with observability best practices and monitoring tools
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery
• Deep understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code

Nice to Have

• Experience with serverless architecture (AWS Lambda)
• Exposure to multi-cloud (Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of financial services or capital markets
