What You’ll Do

Engineering & Delivery

  • Develop features and enhancements in Java 17/21 and Spring Boot 2.x/3.x., with database work using JPA and FlyWay
  • Implement and maintain frontend functionality using Vaadin (experience preferred; strong Java engineers can pick it up quickly)

  • Apply AWS services (Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, S3) as part of development tasks
  • Adapt existing Terraform modules when required (templates provided)
  • Write unit and integration tests, contributing to overall test coverage

Collaboration

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge
  • Work closely with QA Engineers to reproduce and resolve defects
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analyst, and Architect during backlog refinement and sprint planning
  • Engage actively in daily standups and status meetings

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of professional experience as a backend or fullstack Java engineer
  • Strong programming skills in Java (17 and 21) and Spring Boot (2.x and 3.x)
  • Familiarity with AWS (Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch, SQS/SNS, S3)
  • Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, but CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar acceptable)
  • Understanding of unit and integration testing practices
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written), with working hours overlapping European and LATAM time zones
