Reporting directly to the Regional Controller, the Accounting Assistant significantly contributes to maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial activities.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in an accounting or finance role spanning 1-2 years
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and tax law
- Familiarity with RS.GE and working experience with tax law regulations
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and discretion when handling sensitive financial information
Language level
- Fluent in English
- Proficiency in Russian
Responsibilities
- Accurately input financial data, including invoices, receipts, and transactions, into accounting software or spreadsheets
- Maintain and update financial records and databases with precision and attention to detail
- Process invoices, meticulously verifying their accuracy, and ensure prompt payments to vendors and suppliers
- Reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and receipts to uphold consistency and accuracy in financial transactions
- Assist in monitoring and recording customer payments and outstanding balances
- Prepare and dispatch invoices to clients or customers in a timely manner
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records to promptly identify any discrepancies or errors
- Monitor and categorize expenses, ensuring alignment with the company’s budgetary guidelines and policies
- Aid in generating various financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Prepare routine financial reports for management review with meticulous attention to detail
- Post journal entries and uphold the integrity of the general ledger
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and efficiency
- Provide valuable support to auditors by furnishing documentation and information during internal or external audits
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and organizing financial documents
- Address inquiries from employees, vendors, and customers about financial matters promptly and professionally
- Facilitate bank transactions, ensuring timely approval and completion
- Oversee the preparation, signing, and archiving of various documents, including employment agreements, service contracts, and internal operational ordinances
- Ensure strict compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and tax laws, incorporating them into daily practices
