Lead Software Engineer (.Net +Angular)
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in the Microsoft technology stack. You will play a key role in the design, development, and support of enterprise-grade applications using .NET Framework 4.5.2, WCF, MSMQ, MS SQL Server, and other associated technologies. The ideal candidate should be hands-on, self-motivated, and comfortable working in complex distributed environments.

What You’ll Do
- Drive the design, development, and maintenance of robust and scalable backend services using .NET Framework 4.5.2, WCF, and MSMQ
- Integrate APIs and services via Apigee API management platform
- Work with MS SQL Server for database design, optimization, and query development.
- Participate in frontend development using Angular
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Architecture, to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Own technical decision-making, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and best practices across the codebase
- Mentor and guide team members, providing code reviews and technical leadership
- Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and project roadmaps
What You Bring
- Solid background in backend development using .NET Framework 4.5.2, WCF, and MSMQ, with a focus on architecting and leading complex distributed systems
- Experience in Angular (v17 preferred)
- Strong leadership skills: mentoring engineers, guiding technical decisions, and ensuring architectural consistency across projects
- Deep expertise in MS SQL Server (stored procedures, performance tuning, data modeling) with ownership of database architecture and optimization strategy
- Proven experience designing API integration patterns and governance using Apigee or similar API Gateway platforms
- Familiarity with MS ADFS and Active Directory for secure enterprise-grade identity and access management
- Experience in IIS configuration and application hosting on Windows VMs (non-containerized) in AWS EC2, including deployment strategy oversight
- Familiarity with Nodejs/Expressjs, MongoDB
- Adept at aligning technical solutions with business objectives in fast-paced environments.
- Familiar with working in VDI-based project environments
Nice to have
- Proven ability to define and oversee infrastructure automation or scripting initiatives (e.g., PowerShell, Terraform)
- Experience planning and driving modernization efforts using modern .NET versions (Core/6/7) for long-term architectural evolution
- Strong understanding of and collaboration with DevOps teams, including shaping CI/CD processes and ensuring alignment with delivery goals
