Exadel is seeking an exceptional Head of Data & AI Governance to establish, lead, and scale our global Data, Analytics & AI Governance capability. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and execution roadmap for all aspects of data and AI governance, while building high-value, reusable solutions and capabilities that drive revenue, strengthen client trust, and position Exadel as a market-leading consulting partner in Data & AI.

What You’ll Do
Strategy & Leadership
- Define and lead the global Data & AI Governance strategy, covering data management, governance, ethics, privacy, and AI accountability
- Build and grow a high-performing Data Governance team (initial size: 3–6) with clear capability development and career progression pathways
- Represent Exadel as a thought leader in the market—shaping client conversations, industry partnerships, and innovative governance propositions
Governance Capabilities & Solution Development
- Design, build, and continuously evolve modular, reusable governance frameworks and solutions to embed across client programmes
- Lead the development of governance capabilities such as:
- Data Lineage & Data Cataloguing
- Data Privacy & Compliance (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Data Quality Management & Monitoring
- AI Governance including Ethical AI, Responsible AI, Secure AI Frameworks
- Data Entitlement, Access Control & Confidentiality Management
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of data governance platforms, tools, and technologies (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Microsoft Purview)
Execution & Delivery
- Lead the execution of governance solutions on client programmes—ensuring seamless delivery, measurable business value, and regulatory compliance
- Build scalable operating models, processes, and controls that are easily deployable across industries and clients
- Ensure governance solutions are tightly aligned with AI enablement, data platforms, and cloud strategies
Innovation & Revenue Growth
- Develop and monetize Data & AI Governance offerings as part of Exadel’s broader Data & AI go-to-market strategy
- Support pre-sales, solutioning, and client relationship development to position Exadel as a trusted governance partner
- Identify market trends and emerging technologies (e.g., AI ethics frameworks, automated governance tooling) to maintain competitive advantage
What You Bring
- 12+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Risk, Compliance, or AI Governance, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in building and scaling data governance or AI governance functions in consulting or enterprise settings
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data governance frameworks (DAMA-DMBOK, DCAM, EDM Council, etc.)
- AI governance principles including Ethical AI, Responsible AI, AI risk management
- Privacy and compliance regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Deep understanding of data platforms, cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI/ML pipelines from a governance and risk standpoint
- Experience with Data Governance tooling such as Collibra, Informatica, Alation, Atlan, Microsoft Purview
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills—able to confidently engage with C-level executives, regulators, risk teams, and technical teams
- Excellent storytelling, solutioning, and presentation skills for both business and technical audiences
- Visionary and strategic thinker with the ability to execute at pace
- Strong commercial acumen with a focus on building revenue-generating governance propositions
- Passion for ethical, secure, and responsible AI/data practices
- Collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire, coach, and grow teams
