Associate UX/UI Designer

We are seeking a Product Designer who is driven, creative, passionate about user interface design, and experienced with managing multiple projects simultaneously. This role primarily focuses on interface design, however, UX and infographic skills are a bonus. Experience with front-end development is a plus, but not necessary.

The customer provides software products (mobile and web) and services to insurance companies, repair shops, OEMs, parts suppliers, etc., and has a variety of products in auto physical damage, casualty, telematics, and parts domains. These products range in scale and platform, offering a variety of types of work. 

The candidate will be expected to collaboratively produce designs for various products on both mobile and web platforms. In some cases, the candidate will be expected to leverage an existing design system while other times they may need to work with other designers to build out a new system or components. The team heavily leverages components and variables within Figma, and experience with such concepts is essential. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and with minimal guidance from management. Candidates should be comfortable with moving projects on an infrequent, but regular, basis.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in UI/UX design
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Competency in Figma
  • Skills in mobile and web design 
  • Portfolio of work

Working hours

10AM-7 PM CET, occasionally till 10 PM CET

Nice to have

  • Big Data knowledge
  • Experience with Tableau or any other BI tool
  • Front-end development background
  • Competency in managing a design system
  • Expertise working in an Agile team setting
  • Understanding of statistics
  • Practice in XD, Miro

Responsibilities

  • Deliver best-in-class mobile and web interfaces for various products and clients
  • The design will be completed in Figma (occasionally in XD for legacy material)
  • Files and work should be organized and easily handed off between teammates
  • You will regularly be asked to produce and modify Figma prototypes to demo to clients and test with third parties
  • Work closely with design leadership, product management, development, and other stakeholders
  • You will help maintain and develop components and libraries
  • You will help create new dashboard experiences by creating UX solutions as you collaborate with stakeholders.
