The Vice President, Enterprise New Business is responsible for business development, building new client relationships, and acquiring new logos. This is an individual contributor strategic sales role. This includes educating institutional leaders about EVERFI’s solutions and product offerings, and providing clear and compelling proposals as to how to use the EVERFI platform to drive value in large organizations. This role will be aligned to the Financial Capability Network (FCN) product offerings. 

Responsibilities

  • Engage and educate key contacts at targeted large and complex prospect organizations around EVERFI’s solutions 
  • Create demand for EVERFI’s products and services by developing trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at prospect organizations 
  • Achieve revenue targets by securing prospect accounts as EVERFI partners 
  • Manage complex, strategic, relationship management cycles by leading and influencing a large number of internal stakeholders, i.e. revenue, value management, bid management, implementation, marketing and executive support
  • Partner with EVERFI’s Executive team to ensure alignment of prospective partnership pipeline
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the Executive team and internal departments to deliver on customer expectations and link them to the EVERFI’s product strategy
  • Partner with the Associate Account Executive to ensure prospect revenue targets are met and pipeline is built for current and future quarters
  • Partner with the Marketing teams to develop account-based marketing activities, programs, and product updates
  • Forecast and accurately track account activity through the stages of the sales funnel process in EVERFI’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system), Salesforce
  • Provide feedback to the Product and other teams to help inform go-to market strategy and development 
  • Attend important conferences and other forums as needed to drive prospect relationships
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bachelor degree, MBA preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in selling e-learning or SaaS solutions to large enterprise  corporations
  • Significant experience managing SaaS/Cloud-based and consultative solutions to executive stakeholders contacts in large partner accounts with successful revenue attainment
  • Dedicated to realizing quality deals and driven to cultivate long-standing relationships with customers
  • Ability to initiate and manage complex, strategic, relationship management cycles
  • Ability to understand the competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Ability to think critically and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Excellent business acumen and problem solver
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams, influencing without authority and building trust to motivate change
  • Ability to maintain timely and accurate pipeline, customer, and forecast data
  • Ability to effectively present to individuals and groups at all levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience building strong relationships with customers
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of time
