The Vice President, Enterprise New Business is responsible for building new client relationships and acquiring new logos. This is an individual contributor strategic sales role. This includes educating institutional leaders about EVERFI’s solutions and product offerings as well as providing clear and compelling proposals centered on how to use the EVERFI platform to drive value in large organizations. The Vice President is directly responsible for meeting revenue goals associated with a specific product set. This role will focus on business development for our Community Engagement business in areas such as Health & Wellness & Sustainability. 

Responsibilities

  • Engage and educate key contacts at targeted large and complex prospect organizations on EVERFI’s solutions 
  • Create demand for EVERFI’s products and services by developing trusted advisor relationships with key stakeholders at prospect organizations 
  • Achieve revenue targets by securing prospect accounts as EVERFI partners 
  • Manage complex, strategic relationship management cycles by leading and influencing a large number of internal stakeholders, i.e. revenue, value management, bid management, implementation, marketing and executive support
  • Partner with EVERFI’s Executive team to align on the prospective partnership pipeline
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with the Executive team and internal departments to deliver on customer expectations and link them to the EVERFI’s product strategy
  • Partner with Associate Account Executives to meet prospect revenue targets and build pipeline for current and future quarters
  • Partner with Marketing to develop account-based marketing activities, programs, and product updates
  • Forecast and accurately track account activity through the stages of the sales funnel process in Salesforce
  • Provide feedback to the Product and other relevant teams to help inform go-to market strategy and development 
  • Attend industry focused conferences and other forums as needed to drive prospect relationships
  • Other job-related duties as assigned

Desired skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA preferred or relevant industry experience
  • 7+ years of experience successfully selling e-learning, SaaS, and/or Cloud-based solutions to large enterprise corporations
  • Understanding of best practices to establish executive stakeholders contacts in large partner accounts
  • Knowledge of corporate social responsibility (CSR) trends preferred
  • Dedication to realizing quality deals and driven to cultivate long-standing relationships with customers
  • Skilled at analyzing the competitive landscape and problem solving
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex and strategic relationship management cycles
  • Consultative approach to understanding customers’ needs
  • Ability to think critically and navigate ambiguity
  • Experience navigating cross-functional teams, influencing without authority, and building trust to motivate change
  • Ability to maintain timely and accurate pipeline, customer, and forecast data
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills as well as comfortability communicating to individuals and groups at all levels
  • May require travel 20% of time as needed
