Job Description:
The Manager of Sports Medicine is responsible for the oversight of the sports medicine program within their assigned market. Responsibilities include but are not limited to contracts and financial management, building and maintaining internal and external partnerships, employee management and continuous quality oversight. May have direct contact with patients and/or athletes of all ages. The manager works on the assigned Sports Medicine teams to ensure they are aligned with strategic plans and objectives as defined by market leadership.Education Qualifications:
- Athletic training program graduate
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Athletic Trainer with demonstrated leadership ability

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified by National Athletic Trainer Association (NATA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Partners with schools, sports teams, and organizations to promote athlete health and wellness
- Works closely with physicians, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective execution of sports medicine programs
- Oversee operating budget, contracts, staffing, and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Drives continuous quality improvement efforts to achieve high quality and ongoing progress in all areas of care and service
- Provides guidance on best practices for sports injury management and performance enhancement
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Twin Ports:
- Registered by Board of Medical Practice per state guidelines
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required upon hire
- Current MN State registration
- WI license within 90 days of hire
