ELS is hiring for the position of Team Lead - Financial Planning and Analytics in Chicago, Illinois.

What you'll do:

The Financing Planning and Analytics Team Lead oversees the company's short- and long-term financial strategies and prepares financial reports for senior management.

Your job will include:

• Prepare activity reports and financial forecasts.
• Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
• Assess the company's actual performance as compared to business plans.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
• Conduct data analysis, interpret financial information and make suggestions for improved profitability, new business opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
• Act as the primary point of contact with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the finance sector, including significant exposure to data analysis.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends and general market patterns.
• Proficiency with relevant financial and accounting software programs.
• Strong presentation skills and a high level of comfort with public speaking.
• Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
