ELS is hiring for the position of Team Lead - Financial Planning and Analytics in Chicago, Illinois.
What you'll do:
The Financing Planning and Analytics Team Lead oversees the company's short- and long-term financial strategies and prepares financial reports for senior management.
Your job will include:
- Prepare activity reports and financial forecasts.
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget.
- Assess the company's actual performance as compared to business plans.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and procedures.
- Conduct data analysis, interpret financial information and make suggestions for improved profitability, new business opportunities and cost reduction strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact with external auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances.
Experience & skills you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Master's degree and/or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the finance sector, including significant exposure to data analysis.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends and general market patterns.
- Proficiency with relevant financial and accounting software programs.
- Strong presentation skills and a high level of comfort with public speaking.
- Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MD, MN, NJ, NY, and WA is:
Annual Salary: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00
The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
