ELS is hiring for the position of Park Ranger in Fremont, Wisconsin.
What you'll do:

The Campground Ranger position will include some walking, driving a golf cart, patrolling the grounds of the campground, checking buildings to ensure they are presentable for our guests and are locked and secured.
Being able to interact with guests in a positive and professional manner is crucial. Moreover, customer service is a high priority in creating success at Fremont RV Campground. In addition, we are looking for an individual that can handle any stressful situation in a calm manner and react accordingly with regard to local, state and federal law. Your job will include:
- Communicates and fills out daily reports with Property Manager.
- A focus on customer service and guest interaction in a professional manner.
- Monitor the property with a keen eye for any property issues or potential problems.
- Ensure that the property is properly secured and safe.
- Ensure that guests comply with resort rules, respond to areas of concern and contact law enforcement if necessary.
- Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate if access is acceptable.
- Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
- Check guests in and out after office hours.
- Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Dressing professionally in your assigned company apparel.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Skills & experience you need:
- Basic reading, writing, math skills and the ability to use computer applications.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to assess a situation, use quick and reasonable judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
- Exceptional customer service and communications skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Experience working in security and/or law enforcement, and/or working in an RV environment, is a benefit.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
