ELS is hiring for the position of Manager - Revenue Operations in Chicago, Illinois.

What You'll Do

The Manager Revenue Operations is focused on developing and executing on the systems, processes, and reporting of revenue and demand associated with our RV resorts and campgrounds. The position will work closely with the Sr Director of Revenue Management and collaborate with many other departments with the goal of creating an effective and efficient revenue management technology and processes that provide value to our business. This position requires strong experience with project management, a curiosity with numbers, data, trends and analysis, and the ability to utilize a range of tools and systems to create, update, and enhance data for consumption. The position will have the innate ability to bring data "to life" through reports and insights that are useful and digestible by others in developing revenue management strategies to maximize revenues.

  • Leads project management responsibilities in system changes and enhancements
  • Collaborate with technology teams to implement new features, integrations, and processes within our revenue management and booking systems
  • Develops, maintains, and enhances existing data reporting
  • Engages in analysis activity resulting in new data and reporting to enhance property revenue management strategies
  • Extracts and analyzes data in order to draw viable/actionable business conclusions
  • Provides strategy critique and analysis
  • Develops strong relationships across departments for optimal effectiveness
  • Provides functional expertise to properties and participates on demand in key property and/or regional reviews
  • Contributes to the development of forecast/budget formulation and annual, seasonal pricing events
  • Develops the ability and establishes "best practices" to effectively analyze competitive pricing
  • Provides targeted and timely communication of results, achievements, and challenges to the stakeholders
  • Utilize data and analytics to identify and deliver on opportunities for process and system improvements
  • Work in conjunction with the Sr Dir. Revenue Management and cross functional teams to ensure sales, pricing and distribution strategies are aligned for success
  • Work with the Sr. Dir. Revenue Management in developing and communicating strategic plans

Experience & Skills you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience in project management or business analysis. Ideally with experience in hospitality, property management and/or real estate environment
  • Knowledge of revenue management concepts, processes and strategies (including trends, segmentation, pricing, and inventory management).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and use of data in a BI / SQL / Cognos environment(s)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize based on company needs with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, drive projects to completion and meet deadlines
  • Strong communications skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • The ability to gather and organize information using a logical and systematic process; recognize patterns and relationships in complex data; examine data to identify implications, problems and draw appropriate conclusions
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Estimated compensation for this position in the states of BC, CA, CO, IL, MD, MN, NJ, NY, and WA is:

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00

The salary listed is an estimate and not guaranteed. A salary offer will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data. In addition to the base pay and our benefits, some positions are eligible for bonuses, sales commissions, or incentive pay.
