Job Summary
Equinix is hiring a Sustainability Analyst in the Sustainability Program Office to support Equinix in achieving our climate ambitions. This individual will report to the Senior Manager of our Environmental Program within the Sustainability Program Office and will partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive the company-wide decarbonization strategies to meet our climate targets and commitments. Candidates will have a strong grasp of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting practices and key decarbonization levers within the ICT sector and are comfortable working cross-functionally to drive results.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in data collection and management pertaining to sustainability initiatives and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, reporting, and forecasting
  • Support the tracking and reporting of carbon reduction efforts across Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
  • Help maintain internal reporting tools and dashboards to monitor sustainability performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to update internal carbon analytics tools and support project evaluations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Stay informed on sustainability standards and assist in aligning internal efforts with industry frameworks.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in corporate sustainability and GHG accounting
  • B.S. degree in relevant STEM discipline or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and basic analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly on sustainability topics and datasets and work collaboratively across teams
  • Familiarity with sustainability programs specific to energy, environment and emissions and how they are interrelated is preferred (e.g. TCFD, CDP, GRI, The Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Science-based Targets Initiative, ISSB, UK TPT etc.)
  • Interest in learning project coordination and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to support multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with guidance from senior team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly share findings and updates with team members and stakeholders

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

  • Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $70,000 to $104,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
