Supervisor (w/m/d) Install & Implementation Management - Schwerpunkt Elektro

Welcome to Equinix, a global leader in digital infrastructure! Step into the role of Supervisor, where you'll orchestrate the disciplinary and technical management of electrical systems within our data centers.

As Supervisor, you'll oversee a team, ensuring efficient planning, coordination, and optimization of electrical installation processes. Your responsibilities include upholding Equinix standards, supporting daily operations, and nurturing team growth.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Disciplinary and technical management of a team
  • Assuming the role of VEFK (responsible electrician) with technical and supervisory responsibility
  • Planning, coordination, budgeting, implementation, and reporting of resources for installation measures with a focus on the electrical sector
  • Developing solutions to optimise installation processes
  • Supervising the work and activities of contractors to ensure the standards required by Equinix
  • Developing the team to tackle additional responsibilities
  • Supporting day-to-day operations in ongoing data centre operations
  • Creation and maintenance of documentation and reports

What we are looking for:

  • At least 8 years of professional experience of which 5 years in the area of employee management and resource planning
  • Completed vocational training as an electrician/electronics technician/energy electronics technician (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification
  • Optimally completed further training as a master in the field of electrical engineering (m/f/d) is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and expansion of electrical systems in the data centre environment
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • High level of social competence, communication skills and team spirit

Das wünschen wir uns:

  • Mindestens 8 Jahre Berufserfahrung davon 5 Jahre im Bereich Mitarbeiterführung und Einsatzplanung
  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung als Elektriker / Elektroniker / Energieelektroniker (m/w/d) oder ein vergleichbarer Abschluss
  • Wünschenswerte erfolgreich abgeschlossene Weiterbildung zum Meister im Fachbereich Elektro (m/w/d)
  • Kenntnisse und Erfahrung im Bereich Aufbau, Wartung, Reparatur und Erweiterung von elektrischen Anlagen im Rechenzentrumsumfeld
  • Sehr gute Deutsch und gute Englischkenntnisse
  • Hohe Sozialkompetenz, Kommunikationsfähigkeit und Teamgeist
