Job Summary

Manages supervisors, engineers, and Data Center site. Aids in testing, project management, and resolving incidents.

Responsibilities
Management

  • Manages supervisors and engineers
  • Manages team to work safely, effectively and with high regard to human error avoidance
  • Manages personnel details to include salaries, positioning, hire/fire, reviews, coaching and development

Site Capacity Management

  • Overall site capacity management
  • Project/Infrastructure Management
  • Plans, coordinates, reviews budgets, and implements resources to complete projects and maintenance within the data center
  • Provides input and guidance towards budget

Vendor Management

  • Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards, KPI's and SLA's

Testing

  • Ensures correct processes are followed and all documentation is complete
  • Takeover of new builds and building infrastructure
  • Writes all MOP scripts

Incident Management

  • Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
  • Assists with root cause analysis and incident resolution

Qualifications

  • 5+ years Data Center experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Recent hands on Facilities experience (HVAC, Electrical, Maintenance, etc.) preferred
