Job Summary
The Digital Experience team builds software platforms and architecture for customers interacting through our portal and APIs. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead one or more engineering squads, serving as a hands-on technical mentor and strategic leader. You will hire, manage, and develop engineering talent while driving delivery against defined goals and OKRs.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead engineering squads to deliver high-quality, scalable systems with measurable metrics (delivery speed, availability, defect rate).
- Hire, retain, and develop top engineering talent through situational leadership and quarterly performance reviews.
- Define and refine engineering vision in collaboration with product and leadership teams.
- Establish strong engineering culture focused on fundamentals, architecture, and scalability.
- Drive operational excellence and manage technical debt in partnership with Product Owners and Managers.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 2 years managing engineering teams, including career development for 5+ engineers.
- Technical Expertise: 8+ years in full-stack cloud-based application development using microservices architecture; proficiency in Java, Node.js, and React.
- Project Delivery: Proven track record of designing and implementing complex, low-latency web services for large consumer bases.
- Collaboration: Experience leading mission-critical projects with cross-functional teams (product, design, business).
- AI Tools: Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) for application development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building engineering culture and scaling teams across geographies.
- Familiarity with AI-driven business applications beyond coding tools
