Senior Staff Software Engineer

You'll become part of a world-class engineering team that's building Self-Service Colocation Portal, our first partner-forward colocation solution. This digital product streamlines Equinix colocation deployments, increases customer satisfaction and helps the company to grow even further.

Responsibilities

  • Works with product stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide clarity when faced with ambiguous requirements
  • Interacts with product management teams to understand product requirements
  • Participates in architectural review process
  • Leads product features and designs multiple modules with many dependencies as well as participates in overall product design
  • Provides technical leadership to the team
  • Develops scripts and code for a feature and multiple modules and product
  • Cross-technical integration
  • Participates in peer reviews
  • Adoption of standard coding processes
  • Develops unit tests, fixes defects, develops test strategies, recommends testing frameworks
  • Defines and implements operational excellence best practices
  • Provides level of effort (LOE) and Estimates
  • Defines technical strategy and drives release management planning
  • Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies
  • Influences senior management in setting the organization's technical objectives

Qualifications

  • Hands-on professional software development experience in architecting, building, deploying, and maintaining customer facing software services at scale in an innovative engineering environment
  • Experience and good understanding of Kotlin, Spring, JOOQ, Postgress, Docker, OpenApi, Kubernetes, Gradle, GitHub Actions, Prometheus, AppDynamics, Splunk
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English
