We are seeking an experienced, proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven Project and Programs Senior Manager to support the Office of the CEO. This position serves as the operational and execution partner to the Chief of Staff, with the primary focus on customer and partner engagements. This will include project tracking and reporting, following up with global cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, problem solving issues, and ensuring the meetings runs smoothly. A solid understanding of Equinix's vision and structure is essential, along with the ability to anticipate needs and drive action.

Responsibilities

Tactical Planning & Execution

  • Create structured task plans and agendas for meetings
  • Provide input into strategic business programs
  • Take initiative in identifying process improvements to enhance efficiency and impact
  • Leverage tools to track project progress and ensure successful follow-up

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

  • Savvy at building strong, trusted relationships across the organization
  • Lead engagement with key stakeholders, proactively understanding their needs and ensuring seamless collaboration
  • Proactively keeps the Chief of Staff informed and balances working independently with knowing when to escalate or ask for help to ensure things move at pace

Customer and Partner Engagements

  • Work alongside the CEO and Sales executives
  • Independently manages any assigned actions ensuring objectives are met
  • Anticipate challenges and drive preventative solutions
  • Ability to consume data and insights and can translate into new ideas

Communication & Execution Excellence

  • Provide consistent, clear, and proactive updates to stakeholders and Chief of Staff, driving alignment and momentum
  • All deliverables and outputs reflect the quality expected from the Office of the CEO
  • Act with a sense of urgency

Planning & Execution

  • Ability to develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines using structured methodologies
  • Expertise in risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining efficiency

Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Strong global cross-functional leadership skills to coordinate teams and align objectives
  • Proactive communication and status reporting, ensuring transparency with stakeholders
  • Ability to facilitate meetings, drive decisions, and resolve conflicts across teams

Soft Skills & Problem-Solving

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a problem-solving and decision-making approach
  • Adaptability to handle project uncertainties and pivot effectively

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in project/program management
  • Strong knowledge of Equinix products and services, or similar portfolio within the industry
  • Proven ability to lead programs independently with a high degree of ownership
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management, or related field preferred
  • Project Management certification a plus

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:

• San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $157,000 to $235,000 per year

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
